Firstly, let me say how much I admire you for being here. Admitting you’re struggling and something needs to change can be scary and confronting. It's easy to listen to your mind telling you to just get on with it, life isn’t that bad, and that you should be able to figure this out on your own.

And underneath all of it, you find it hard to trust others because deep down you don't fully trust yourself.

Maybe you've found yourself crying without really knowing why, or snapping at someone you love and feeling immediately guilty. Or perhaps it's more of a quiet numbness, a sense that you're going through the motions but not really living.

I’m here to help you quieten that critical voice and remind you that working on yourself takes true strength. It’s not easy to be vulnerable and ask for help, especially when you’ve spent so much of your life focusing on the needs of those around you.

That’s why my work is about meeting you where you are and gently, at a pace that feels right for you, uncovering the roots of what keeps you disconnected from yourself.

When you're stressed, anxious and on the verge of burnout, when your body is exhausted but your mind won't stop, it can feel impossible to imagine another way of living.

Through our work together you'll learn what's possible.

What gets to be different...

You no longer need to fill every moment of your day and now rest without guilt. Your mind has learned to quieten and the endless looping thoughts have finally settled

Your daily anxiety and overwhelm have been replaced with a sense of inner peace and contentment, allowing you to feel joy and playfulness in your life

You begin to feel at home in your own body for the first time, no longer bracing for the next thing

You’ve stopped second guessing yourself and looking to others for approval and you now have full confidence in the choices you make

You start to uncover who you are beneath your current patterns of protection and come to accept the version of you that exists underneath

Your fear of saying no and letting other people down has been replaced by boundaries that feel natural and protective

This isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about connecting back to who you were always meant to be.

The way I work

Sessions are guided by me, led by you. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, it’s to offer a safe, non-judgmental space that meets you where you are. The mind and body are worked with interchangeably. Some sessions may start with what’s on your mind and we’ll carefully slow that down so we can check in with what your body is holding. Other sessions may require us to start with what your body is bringing you at that moment and see where that takes us.

Therapy isn’t about being broken and needing a fix. It’s about being in a safe space that allows you to uncover the beliefs and past experiences keeping you from living a life that feels truly like yours. Nothing is wrong with you. You simply have a body living in survival mode that needs to learn how to feel safe enough to relax and let go.

In order to experience lasting change it’s not enough to simply retell and understand our experiences. When we’ve experienced chronic stress and trauma the body gets switched into a mode where it’s constantly scanning for the next threat. This feeling lives in the body and so that’s where we need to work with it.

What you think and believe is important, but too often staying just in the story keeps you stuck in the same cycle. Through this work together we can gradually reconnect into your body and meet the sensations and emotions that haven’t yet had the space to be held.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help. You came recommended to me, but I was still unsure how it would work, but I knew I had to trust you and go for it. The results have been life changing and I am beyond grateful for you (and proud of myself for making that move.) Thank you

Working with Sam was one of the best investments that I made in myself in 2023. Throughout the whole process from start to finish I felt supported and guided. After working with Sam, I now feel a lot more confident and comfortable making decisions for both me and my business. It's really helped me see the importance in looking after me and putting myself first, as for so long I came at the bottom of the list.

Sophie

Working with Samantha challenged me to think more clearly and was a relief for my mind.

I now have new skills after just a few sessions that will help me in my business and personal life. For me as a mum to be able to calm my mind and relax more it really helps my work life balance. I can be calmer and less stressed for my children and strive for the creative challenges as an entrepreneur.

Lorna

I have been working with Sam for over a year now and the results I have personally and professionally experienced throughout the past year have been extraordinary. Sam has been very understanding of my situation and helped me overcome some challenges I never thought I would have survived through. Every time I was feeling particularly low or lost Sam would pick me up and get me back on the right path within minutes of chatting.

Frequently asked questions

As standard, sessions are 60 minutes and held online over video conferencing. Occasionally a longer session of 90 minutes or 2 hours might be needed and that can be discussed together as part of our work. I work flexibly to ensure I am meeting the individual needs of each client and, therefore, session frequency can be discussed. With that said, I recommend 6 weekly sessions to start our work together.

Sessions are £85 an hour. This can be paid as a block (for example the initial 6 sessions in one go) or on the day of each session.

You can contact me here or fillout this form and I will be in touch to arrange your free 30 minute connection call. The right therapeutic relationship is key and the connection call helps me to clearly understand the support you are looking for and allows you a chance to gain more insight into how I work.

What I can tell you is that this work goes deeper than surface level management. We find the core of the issue to support longer term healing rather than quick fixes. Shifts happen along the journey even when the work is ongoing.

If previous therapy hasn't created lasting change it might be because it was mostly focused at the level of the mind and talking therapy, and it might also be that certain layers were worked on that are now allowing deeper levels to surface.

Many clients come to me having tried a few different therapies before and the main reason they haven’t found significant, lasting change is they are stuck at the logical knowing level, and the piece that has been missing is working with the body.

This is where EFT and somatic practices support a deeper level of healing and integration. This is especially important for working with complex trauma as this keeps the nervous system locked in a heightened state of stress that talking alone can’t regulate.

No you don’t. Often clients come to me with a few presenting issues and part of my work is helping them uncover common themes that hold them together.

Remember therapy isn’t about being broken and needing to be put together. Whatever is stopping you from living a life that genuinely feels like yours is welcome here.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an evidence-based, trauma informed cognitive-somatic approach that uses acupressure points to work with the mind and body together.

It’s a gentle and effective way to work through past memories and traumas, as well as emotional and physical discomfort. Tapping on the acupressure points, alongside therapeutic exploration, calms the body’s stress response and allows space for deeper healing.

Many clients find it works where talking therapy alone hasn’t and it can also be used as a great self-regulation tool.

Not everyone who practises EFT operates within a regulated professional framework. As a member of EFT International I am bound by their code of ethics and required to undertake regular supervision and CPD ensuring the highest standards of care for every client.
